I hope that you and your families are all safe and well.
We are now becoming familiar with the rhythms of lockdown. Whilst some of you may be bored, others have used it as an opportunity for reflection and creativity. We know what a talented bunch you are, so we would like to provide you with a creative challenge, aside from your usual academic work on Google Classroom and SMHW. We will publish the results on the school website and award a prize gift voucher worth £25. Apart from challenging yourselves, it will be a lovely opportunity to re-connect with each other and to share your thoughts and ideas amongst our Little Ilford community.
Here is the Headteacher Challenge for this month: 'My View'
You can interpret the title in any way you see fit and in any form of media: photography, writing, poetry, drawing, painting, film, drama, sculpture. For example, it could be a photograph or painting of a view from your window, real or imagined; you could write about or present your opinions of the COVID pandemic, lockdown or other current affairs; you could consider your own perspective or those of others on events, routines or cultural celebrations in your family life.
Send in your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, 22nd May. We will publish as many entries as possible on the school website and will notify you of the prize winner the following week. The prize will be awarded for quality and originality, so get thinking!
We are looking forward to hearing from you and seeing your creative efforts!
