Dear Parent(s),

We are at the end of the summer term and another year group has left Little Ilford to continue learning at college. Firstly, I want to wish all the year 11s the very best of luck for their future and I look forward to hearing about them getting their university places in 2 years time.

The GCSE results will be published on 2 dates this year:

1. A computer print out will be available for the students to collect on 24th August 2010.

This can be used to take to college to secure their place on various courses.

2. The official exam board slips will be available on 26th August 2010 to collect.

The college will still want to see this copy as firm proof of the student’s results.

These certificated results must be stored away safely as they could be required as proof at any time in the future. So please ensure your son / daughter looks after them.

The year 11 students deserve a good rest and holiday but I would urge you to ensure that they do fully rest and stay safe throughout the summer holidays.

Thank you for you full support over the last 5 years and I sincerely hope that on the 24th August, your son / daughter gets all that he / she deserves.
